World Teachers day

World Teachers' Day was inaugurated by UNESCO in 1994 to celebrate the role teacher’s play in providing quality education at all levels. It is through education that children and adults of all ages are able to learn, participate in and contribute to their local community and global society.  In Australia, World Teachers' Day is held on this Friday the 30th of October which will provide an opportunity for the community to pay tribute to the thousands of teachers who work in government, Catholic and independent schools across Australia. Our teachers are dedicated professionals who are inspired by their desire to make to make a difference in the lives of their students. On Friday I will thank them on your behalf but if the opportunity arises to express your own gratitude for their efforts than please do so, I know they will appreciate it.
